At Soft Soles Advanced and Diabetic Foot Care, we are both registered nurses (RNs) and registered practical nurses (RPNs). We work in hospitals, clinics, communities, and facilities. Universally, what we see is situations where independence and health deteriorates or is lost due to lower limb disease. We have partnered with facilities and clinics to decrease this risk and hope to help you as well as your family maintain lower limb health.
Soft Soles takes a three-pronged approach to foot care by meeting the lower limb health care needs of communities, connecting individuals to local organizations and resources, and offering new foot care nurses employment opportunities, professional support, and mentoring. Through the delivery of foot care clinics in the Ottawa Area, Soft Soles carries out its mandate to provide knowledge and tools to maintain and foster independence.
Our motto is: Knowledge is power, empower yourself!
Our nurses are independent practitioners who take the time and consideration needed to care for their patients. We are proud of every nurse on our team!
Every patient with us can expect the best practices for infection control, and a holistic approach to care by a professional and knowledgeable nurse. All of our nurses use individually packaged single use sterile tools and wear appropriate PPE that they change in between each patient.
Registered nurses are accountable to the College of Nurses of Ontario. They must update their knowledge and skills continually to ensure they meet established standards in all aspects of their practice and care.
